Tuscan Field

This little painting sprouted from a photo I took while painting in Tuscany with two artist pals. I've taken this photo out dozens of times, always attracted to the combination of countryside, Italian farm homes and hayrolls. Today I finally decided to try the scene. I painted it quickly, on a gallery wrap canvas, so the hayrolls turn the corners and it will hang just as seen---no frame.
