Warm-hearted Wren

Next to Chickadees, I have to call the Wren another top favorite wee birdie. Growing up in North Carolina, I loved hearing them call across our back yard. Often they nested right next to the house so we could watch, delighted, at their comings and goings as they raised their chicks. This little guy lets me know you can take the girl out of North Carolina, but you can't take NC out of the girl!
