Apricots and Roses

The inspiration for this painting came from a lovely garden book. I was looking for color combinations in flowers for a demonstration, and I was drawn to the soft merging of yellows and pinks that created apricot hues...which led me to include three apricots as a finishing touch. My artist Mom says she likes the soft, lost edge on the right side of the vase the best.
Oil on Canvas, 20 x 24. SOLD

About time you updated! I have been waiting to see some more, interesting that this one went up next, I remember Grandmother suggesting the fruit. Have you begun your project for my graduation yet? *-:
