St. Simon's Afternoon

I'm hoping my new-found enthusiasm for plein aire painting is starting to show through in my recent works. This scene had so much appeal to me that it might have borne a sign, "Paint me" by the roadside. It's a small painting, but I think that's part of it's charm.
