I photographed this tranquil scene behind our Colorado home two years ago, as Fall was turning the hillsides golden. We used to hear the coyotes howling and the elk bugling here in October. Now the area is being developed for an upscale neighborhood....so I decided to try to capture that old tranquility on canvas. Now, I look at my painting and it takes me back to the way it was when we moved here.
