Days End on the Marsh

My studio this summer has been surrounded by heavy--and very noisy--construction, and the machines are particularly noisome today. So I decided to bring a sense of peacefulness and tranquility into my head by painting a scene from my last visit to the Georgia marsh coast. It worked...I was able to tune out the machines, and I like the painting to boot!
