This early morning painting will always take me back to that spot on St Simon's Island, GA. Another artist and I set out early one morning, spotted this lovely marsh and spent a quiet hour or so recording our feelings about the scene. We had to hurry before the tide receded, but I love the gentle mood of this little painting.
