Brush Creek View

This beautiful farm is just north of where we live in Colorado, and I've admired it many times as I drove to our favorite fishing spot. This time, however, I was out with two painting buddies and we couldn't resist it. We parked as close as we dared, set up our easels and painted with concentration....we knew that we had at most an hour and 1/2 before the wind would kick up. Sure enough it did--which turned out to be a good thing because it kept me from over-working the piece.
